Shipping policy

Order Processing
All orders are initially submitted as drafts. Once an order is received, shipping charges will be calculated based on the delivery address, order size, and shipping method. An invoice including product charges and applicable shipping costs will then be sent to the Customer for payment. Orders will not be processed or shipped until full payment of the invoice has been received.

Shipping Timeline
Upon receipt of payment and confirmation of order, 1888 Mills will process and ship all in-stock items within seven (7) business days. If any items are backordered, Customers will be notified of the expected ship date before the order is finalized.

Freight Carrier Fees and Accessorial Charges
Customer acknowledges and agrees that any additional fees assessed by the freight carrier at the time of delivery (“Accessorial Charges”) shall be the sole responsibility of the Customer. Accessorial Charges may include, but are not limited to, lift gate service, inside delivery, limited access delivery, residential delivery, redelivery, storage, detention, or any other service outside of standard delivery. Such Accessorial Charges are not included in the original shipping costs quoted or paid at the time of order.

Any Accessorial Charges invoiced to 1888 Mills by the freight carrier will be billed to the Customer within seven (7) days of delivery. Payment of such invoice shall be due immediately upon receipt. Failure to remit timely payment may result in suspension of future deliveries, denial of further credit, and/or collection action.

Shipping Methods
1888 Mills reserves the right to select the most appropriate carrier and shipping method for each order unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Customers may request specific carriers or delivery requirements in advance; however, any associated costs will be the responsibility of the Customer.

Delivery Delays
While 1888 Mills makes every effort to ensure timely delivery, we are not responsible for delays caused by freight carriers, weather, acts of God, or other circumstances beyond our control.
